How it works

Detect. Protect. Respond.

Three simple stages — the same three words on every VENGUARD plate, screen and badge. They describe how a concern becomes a coordinated venue response in minutes, not hours.

The three stages

One simple loop, every incident

From the moment a concern is raised to the moment your team gets back to business — VENGUARD keeps everyone moving together.

Detect

A concern is raised

A staff member, a member of the public, or the controller spots something. VENGUARD captures it instantly and routes it to the right person.

Protect

Everyone moves together

Visitors are guided to safety, your team stays coordinated, and key steps are recorded to support review and preparedness evidence.

Respond

The right workflow triggers

The controller starts the appropriate response. Staff phones and any displays update at once with clear, consistent instructions.

A typical incident, end to end

What happens in the first 90 seconds

A simplified walk-through using a medical incident as the example. Real incidents vary — but the operational shape is consistent.

00:00

A concern is raised

A member of the public taps an NFC plate at the bar to report a person needing assistance. The concern lands directly with the duty controller, with location pre-filled.

00:08

Controller acknowledges

The duty manager sees the alert on the tablet, confirms category as "Medical" and picks the Medical workflow. One tap.

00:11

Staff phones light up

Every on-shift staff member receives a role-appropriate alert on their phone — first aider, supervisor, front-of-house — with the location and clear instructions.

00:18

Public displays update

Any opted-in displays show calm public-facing wording. Visitors who scan a QR plate see the same plain-language information.

00:35

Roles confirm

Staff acknowledge the alert from their phones. The controller sees who has responded, who is en route, and who needs a nudge.

01:30

All-Clear & record

Once the incident is resolved, the controller triggers All-Clear. Alerts, actions and timestamps are saved to the cloud audit log for post-incident review.

The alert system

Clear alerts for every situation

One consistent visual language across phones, staff devices and optional displays — so there's never any doubt about what to do.

🏃
EVACUATE

Leave the building via the nearest exit and follow staff instructions.

MEDICAL

Medical assistance required. Remain calm and keep access clear.

🔒
LOCKDOWN

Secure yourself away from doors and windows until told otherwise.

🏠
INVACUATE

Move to the nearest safe area inside the building and wait.

ALL CLEAR

The incident is over. It is safe to resume normal activity.
