This page explains cookies and similar storage on venguard.co.uk and the Venguard platform.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device. Some tools use similar storage, such as local storage in the browser.

The marketing website

venguard.co.uk does not set first-party cookies today.

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use analytics cookies.

The site loads fonts from Google. That is a request to Google, not a cookie we set.

Our hosting keeps server logs for 30 days. Those are not cookies.

If we add optional cookies later, we will update this page and ask before we set them.

The platform

The platform needs some cookies and local storage to work. These are essential. We do not use them for advertising.

Sign-in. Clerk sets cookies so you stay signed in.

Session. After sign-in we keep a Venguard session cookie so the Admin Centre and Staff Console know who you are.

Local storage. The browser may keep display choices, a retry list if the network drops, and a public concern reference so you can return to a report you just sent.

Public reporting pages do not require an account. They may store a concern reference on your device so you can reopen the chat.

TV Display pages use a token in the page address. That is not a cookie.

Apps on a phone follow the same rules. Push notification tokens stay on the device and with Apple or Google so we can send an alert.

How to control cookies

You can block cookies in your browser. If you block essential cookies on the platform, sign-in will not work.
